Snow totals are still firmly in the "low tide and fast grass" zone, but the storm lining up tonight is the one we’ve been mumbling about on the sherpa line all week. NWS has Bolton queued up for a proper reload, so consider this the calm before the cawsome: wax the good boards, finish your P-tex therapy, and get ready for fresh tattoos on Holden’s proper once the snow globe tips over.

Bolton Resort — Dirtbag Version: Current Conditions

Short version: Bolton's holding the fort. Mostly groomed lines with tracked powder in lift-served pockets; low elevations are firm/icy in spots. If you want untracked, aim for the upper glades early and check the webcams.

ok, the mountain keeps getting a dusting overnight, this is great and I'm sure the crew is kicking ass at grooming it -- doing an awesome job this year, gotta say.

But, let's be honest, locals are using these kind of days to get hours at their day jobs, because have you seen what's under the little bit of snow?

It's a totally crusted snow situation. We got the crud.

My call? Get hours in at work and think about going out Thursday morning.

Felt like we were totally skunked because some weather reports showed more snow, but we got what Tele Rob called "an over performing inch and a half".

It's decent.

Bolton Report — All Eyes on Friday Night

Dude — nobody around here is losing sleep over today's sketchy base. Tracks are thin and scabby where you find them, and most folks are in maintenance mode: waxing boards, tuning skis, and staring at the radar. It’s not a day for hero laps — it’s a day to save your energy and wait for the Friday night storm to do the heavy lifting.
